Kamasutra in Dresden

Was there a year ago. Food was delicious even for people who do not like or cannot tolerate spicy food

I ordered 2 Lamm curries 1 with little chilli ( mittel scharf) and 2 without chili ( ohne scharf) for Take away ( zum mitnehmen) but when i taste Curry at Home both curries with chili ( mit scharf) i call the owner and told him that my child can't eat please make it once again and please take this back but he rejected and excused that its normal i m Inder and i know very well what is normal if i ordered food without chili i just advice owner of this restaurant we are in Germany! and please think about custmer service!!! Never again this restaurant!!!!!!!!!!!!

Super nice ambience! Very, very tasty food! It is really recommended! We've been there 4-5 times and it always tasted great!

There is nothing to be seen of the Kamasutra here, unfortunately also no love for food. The spices for the vegetables are bland, the sauces for the bread are far too sweet - I'm used to better things from Indian cuisine. When asked about the ingredients, there is no understandable answer, only ordering is understood ... to get someone to translate, the waiters don't care. Incidentally, none of the employees wears a mask. If you want to pay, you have to do it in a dark corner so that you can see outside in daylight that too much has been withheld. Nobody in there wants to know anything about it. In any case, I won't go into this shop again and I don't recommend it to anyone.

The waitress did not wear a face mask during the pandemic.

Currently quite interesting due to the promotional prices. The food was delicious and there was also enough meat in the meal (lamb). The lentil soup tasted great. Unfortunately there was no Diet Coke. Just for info. We didn't like the bread that much. Too dry and not as slightly greasy as we usually know it to be. Oh well. We sat inside because the outside area didn't really invite us at the intersection, and the television with Indian rap didn't really match the atmosphere in the restaurant.

The lady who took order was very nice but the food failed to wow me.

Solid Indian restaurant. The portions are large and the meat good. The nan bread was unfortunately a bit disappointing. Staff is very nice.

Fast and nice service. But: We wanted to redeem the voucher from the Voucher Book.de issue when paying. Unfortunately, that was absolutely not possible. We should have said in advance that we wanted to redeem the GS. How do you know that you have to announce this if there is no clue anywhere? The portions were quite small, but we weren't really hungry either, so we were already full ... somehow ... after half an hour ... Conclusion: Even if we still have the GS (which we wanted to redeem), we will not redeem it here.

The food was super delicious, the service friendly and attentive and the ambience matched the Indian culture. TOP BUT: The cleanliness in the restaurant and especially in the toilet areas can still be improved (dust, stains, cobwebs and dried plants on the window sill can unfortunately be seen). Hence a star deduction. I would recommend it for a delicious meal. ?

It was my first time in this location and I highly recommend a visit. It is wonderfully decorated in local color and the country-typical background music at a very pleasant volume. The offer is wide and very tasty. For me personally, it could have been a little hotter, but it's ultimately a matter of taste. In summary, I would like to say: great service and ambience. You can also go well in a group, but it is probably advisable to book in advance

So far my best restaurant in dresden. The food was delicious. I was disappointed with German culture a bit. We went there early to make sure our baby eats on time. Didn't expect that most of the German eat at that time too, which created then a lot of work for only one waitress and everyone leaving at the same time. The place should definitely hire more. We also asked for doggy bags packed to divide between us, and that wasn't done as asked. Besides that, we all had a great time. Food and atmosphere definitely worth it !

Food was fine. But had worst experience with staff who charged extra 4euros for onions . Dear Owner, ask your staff to treat the customers in the professional way .

Indian cuisine at its finest. Great in taste and also very authentic. Unfortunately, the language barrier is just as authentic. The service could have looked more often, then we would have had at least one more drink on the bill. Overall, absolutely recommendable and we will definitely be back. Was already there 3 times this year.

Good and delicious starters and main courses. Ambience is typically Indian with Bollywood music. We had a nice evening!

Lovely Indian restaurant that is beautifully decorated. We had two dishes (daal and mater paneer) and both were very yummy. The food isn’t oily like some other restaurants either.

Pretty good Indian cuisine, not the best in Dresden. Price wise is acceptable during happy hour. But be careful of sides like bread and rice, they charge each serving instead of free flow like in Agra.

Interesting ambiance. Quite reasonable cuisine- there is better in Dresden.
